All aboard the Ark.

Last week here at Magspeed HQ we announced one of our new sponsors, The Ark Cycles and we are SO pleased to have them on board. Here is a little more about this mint independent bike shop based near Stroud – where Magspeed first began…

Formerly Noah’s Ark Cycles, we at The Ark Cycles build on their 35 years of heritage. We are situated on the outskirts of Stroud directly linked to the canal paths in a Grade 2 listed building. At The Ark, we pride ourselves on offering a more personal experience to your cycling needs.

With the steep hills of the Stroud valleys, towpaths and bridleways, stunning countryside surroundings with bike parks a stone’s throw away, we have tailored our lineup to suit the majority! If you are after that something special we can order for next day delivery.

Go and check the shop out, whether you live locally or visit their website, lets keep the independent bicycle shop alive!! Sean and Mike are on hand in the showroom or workshop and very happy to help. This is the start of something pretty cool, so lets get behind it!

In racing news here at Team Orange, our man Tomo managed to make the podium (though he didn’t realise – and then missed the presentation) racing up in the Steel City, Sheffield. Not feeling great before the start but once going managed to get into a decent rhythm on revised course, made more technical with lots of elevation designed by Matt Payne. Our man came back with 3rd, pretty decent considering not feeling 100% before the start. We’ll hopefully get a podium shot of this chap one day! Great work Tomo.

Bank Holiday weekend is here, so plenty of bike riding for Team Orange, updates of the three day weekend to come soon, have fun out there people.
