Not much in the way of racing last weekend here at Team Orange, so it was time to play. Some of the southern contingent headed to the Forest of Dean and more specifically the great playground that is Pedal A Bike Away. Sam, Stu and Scotty tackled the various circuits that the centre has to offer. Fun was had as well as intervals to keep the boys in tip top condition for the forthcoming MTB races…
High or low line?! Youth goes high, ‘experience’ goes low… The boys having fun!
Meanwhile in Wales, Scot and James headed to the Dyfi Enduro in Machynlleth. 56km of some amazing wooded trails and mountainous trails. Scot and James once again took their friendly rivalry to the start line and spent the day cruising around in the sunshine in some of Wales’ finest terrain. Sunday was DEFINITELY a fun day!
Midweek Tomo headed to Round 1 of the Yorkshire Summer Cyclocross League at Newsome High School in Huddersfield. Our man came away with 8th overall and a 1st place in the veteran men’s category! Cracking ride James!
Next up, Round 3 of the National MTB series, look out for the next blog and a round up from Cannock Chase!
